AVID Artist DNxIO on Mac OS X Big Sur+ “No Desktop Video Device Detected”

The drivers are installed with Desktop Video ( https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/de/support/family/capture-and-playback )

This needs to be present:

/Library/Extensions/BlackmagicIO.kext

If BlackmagicIO.kext is missing, you can copy it per hand:

sudo cp -r /Library/Application\ Support/Blackmagic\ Design/Blackmagic\ DeckLink/Signed\ Extensions/BlackmagicIO.kext /Library/Extensions/

Then in Privacy and security, allow this:

and restart.
